Joe Pettigrew joins L+R Hotels as Group Chief Commercial Officer, with overall responsibility for integrating and leading the Group’s commercial strategies on revenue, distribution, sales, and marketing to maximize efficiencies, increase profitability, and accelerate the global growth of the portfolio and platforms across Americas, Europe & UK, and Atlas.

Joe Pettigrew is a seasoned hospitality industry veteran with over 20 years of executive experience in hotel operations, asset management, brand growth, and corporate strategy. Widely recognized as an industry leader, Joe has overseen various teams and executed a wide range of asset-level and platform commercial strategies and transformations across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Joe joined L+R Hotels from EOS Hospitality, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer for one of the fastest-growing, vertically integrated US hotel investment and management firms based in New York City with over 50 hotels.

Prior to joining EOS, Joe spent 11 years at Starwood Capital Group as Chief Commercial Officer, Hotel Asset Management, maximizing the performance of all investments, many of them category-defining platforms, by working closely with the Management teams while reducing costs, as well as providing comprehensive commercial due-diligence, underwrite, and business plan support to the firm’s global offices on all hospitality acquisitions.

Earlier in his career, Joe also served in several senior roles within the hospitality and travel sector at some of the most celebrated companies, such as Expedia, The Palms Casino, and Marriott International.
